UPCYCLE IMPACT TOURS
The challenge of plastic waste, lack of decent houses/ homes, unemployment, and deforestation caused by the housing sector are in every corner of the African continent.
Upcycle Africa has constructed affordable housing in different parts of Africa including Uganda, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe among others.
Through labor-based approaches, we retool marginalized groups of people to learn plastic waste repurposing skills as well as ensure the sustainability of people engaged in this circular model.
"Not only are plastics polluting our oceans and waterways and killing marine life – it's in all of us and we can't escape consuming plastics.”

Making sure that we become more sustainable, by changing people's mindset to use plastic waste as a resource is something that I am proud of. As a social worker by profession, I was so happy to join a great team with a great cause, I wonder why not everyone moving in the same direction. I believe through our work we shall promote an innovative mindset as well as the way people think and dispose of plastic waste.
WE MUST BE PART OF SOLUTION NOT PART OF THE POLLUTION
